Today we have upgraded the email system that provides service to eoni.com email accounts.
The system we replaced was not able to deliver the email in a timely enough fashion and we wanted to raise the bar in terms of speed and performance to our valued customers. We currently have 1.3 million email messages stored that are classified as spam. These are the emails that get held in your quarantine until you choose to see them or let them delete themselves after 14 days.
We work on a daily basis to improve our systems to reduce the spam you receive.
We will be making some additional adjustments during the regularly scheduled Wednesday maintenance window (midnight to 6AM) over the next few weeks to continue to upgrade the email system. Thanks for your patience...we think you will really like the new system.

This morning for about 30 minutes EONI network operations center operated on generator power. The word is a truck carrying a load snagged a utility line and started a fire near a power substation. EONI systems switched to batteries and generator power throughout the valley as the outage appeared to cover much of La Grande, Island City, Elgin and Summerville. We thank Oregon Trail Electric for acting fast to resolve the issue and get EONI and it's customers back on quickly.
